Eligibility: 

Woman, genderqueer, or gender-nonconforming person over age 18 ✔️ Live in New York City ✔️ Be authorized to work in the United States ✔️ Be able to communicate (read, write, speak) in basic English ✔️ Be able to arrive on time ✔️ Be able to lift 50 pounds (22kg) and stand on your feet for 8 hours ✔️ Have an open and flexible schedule for the duration of the program, including evenings, early mornings, and weekends ✔️ Have a High School Diploma/GED or equivalent Have an interest in cooking and the intention to work in the food industry ✔️ Be comfortable using a computer (if you do not have one we can provide one for you) Commit to training and at-home coursework (about 20-25 hours/week): Attend every training session via Zoom or in-person (~7-10 hours/week) Complete coursework outside of class (~8-10 hours/week) Be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 ✔️
